This year’s competition will take place at State Farm Stadium in Glendale, Arizona, and you will be able to watch the action live beginning at 11:30 p.m. on Sunday evening.

Below is a preview of the most exciting of the action.

Kansas City Chiefs @ Philadelphia Eagles

What an epic clash, the first seed from each conference and almost undoubtedly the two best teams this season will clash in an immense game this Sunday evening. The Philadelphia Eagles steamrolled the San Francisco 49ers in the NFC Championship game, although it has to be said with both 49ers quarterbacks in Brock Purdy and fourth-replacement Josh Johnson being injured, it was hardly a fair contest from the start.

Nevertheless, the Eagles outclassed the best defence in the NFL to win by a substantial margin with the final score at 31-7. Quarterback Jalen Hurts had a brilliant game, as did running back Miles Sanders who notched two touchdowns. Like their opponents, the Eagles are 16-3 this season and this matchup will be a tough battle of wits.

The Eagles will head into this game full of confidence as the 4/5 favourites. The Eagles offence has been flawless this season, with the likes of wide receiver A.J. Brown, DeVonta Smith and running back Miles Sanders, all capable of causing damage to any opposition they face.

The path to victory for the Eagles will be to sack Patrick Mahomes as much as possible to prevent the Chiefs offence from getting up and running efficiently. Equally, exposing the Chiefs poor defence on passing plays will be key, with the Chiefs conceding 33 passing touchdowns this season – the most of any team.

The Kansas City Chiefs topped the AFC division and bettered the Cincinnati Bengals in a closely contested game to claim the AFC Championship title. The Chiefs will kick off this game as the 21/20 underdogs but judging from their season so far they look in a strong spot to contend for the trophy.

The Chiefs currently boast the best offence in the NFL, averaging 413.6 yards of offense per game. This is perfectly countered by the Eagles pass defence which is also the best in the NFL, although they are yet to play an offence with the weapons that the Chiefs have at their disposal.

Head coach Andy Reid is an offensive mastermind, with star quarterback Patrick Mahomes being the integral part of the team’s offensive success. Unfortunately, Mahomes suffered an ankle injury, but since that didn’t stop him against the Bengals, there is little concern about his ability to perform on the biggest stage of them all.

Travis Kelce is one of the greats who will be remembered far beyond his time, having broken his own record for the most completed catches in a playoff game by catching 14 against the Jaguars.

Furthermore, in just the two playoff games so far Kelce has caught 21 passes for 178 yards and two touchdowns, truly impressive. To add spice to the mix, his brother Jason Kelce plays for the Eagles, so either way one Kelce is walking home victorious.

Overall, Eagles are favoured to lift the Vince Lombardi Trophy, but they will have a stiff competition against an outrageously dangerous Chiefs team. Many anticipate a high scoring , with the odds of both teams to score three touchdowns at 13/10. Any way this game unfolds, it will be an unmissable occasion with a halftime show headlined by Rihanna topping off the affair.
